For the past few years I have scratched onto the undersides of my bonsai pots an inscription-cum-dedication, and some of the quotes on this page have been extracted from that source. I refer to them as the spontaneous ‘thoughts of citizen Dan’.

I will probably be refreshing the quote on a weekly basis

Hi Dan, Hope you are will. We are expenriencing a rather cold winter but we are well.
Sorry to worry you. We belong to the Waterberg Bonsai Club in RSA. We are haveing our annual exhbition in September. To raise extra funds, our daughter-in-law who runs a arts and crafts shop, is making different articles to raffle our sell at the exhibition.

We were wondering whether you will object to us using some of your haiku on these itmes? We will, if you agree, display your name ons all related items.
